Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus BS6.2 Variant, Powertrain Details Leaked | V3Cars

The test mule of the Bolero Neo Plus was recently spotted on the road. The Bolero Neo Plus 9-seater is likely to get a more powerful diesel engine than the smaller Bolero Neo to haul the extra weight. A new RTO document reveals the variant and powertrain details of the upcoming family SUV.

As per the leaked document, Mahindra will offer the Bolero Neo Plus in 6 variants — P4 7-str, P10, P10 R, P10 7-str, P10 7-str R and P4 Ambulance. The ambulance model will offer seating for 5 passengers along with space for a stretcher. Like the TUV300 Plus, the Bolero Neo Plus will also offer both 7- and 9-seater configurations.

As far as performance is concerned, the Bolero Neo Plus will come with a 2.2L turbo diesel engine that puts out around 120PS of power at 4000rpm. However, the ECO mode will offer a reduced power output of around 95PS at 3600rpm. The engine is likely to come mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, which will channel power to the rear wheels.

2023 Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus Interior And Features

On the inside, the Bolero Neo Plus could offer a conventional dashboard layout. The design is likely to be similar to the dashboard offered in the discontinued TUV300 Plus and the new Bolero Neo. The dashboard features a touchscreen infotainment system just below the central AC vents. Other features could include manual AC, steering-mounted controls, cruise control, power window controls on the centre console and a front armrest.

Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus Launch Details

Mahindra are likely to launch the updated Bolero Neo Plus in the coming months. The new RTO document hints at an imminent launch. The new Bolero Neo Plus won’t have any direct rivals and it is likely to come at a competitive price tag.
