2025 MG Hector Now E20 Fuel Compliant – Prices Unchanged | V3Cars

JSW MG Motor India have announced that 2025 Hector is now E20 fuel compliant, aligning with the Indian government’s push for a more sustainable automotive future. This update ensures that the Hector can run on petrol blended with 20% ethanol, meeting the E20 mandate for vehicles manufactured after April 1, 2025.

2025 MG Hector Now E20 Fuel Compliant 

The E20-compliant MG Hector 2025 is available with the same 1.5L turbo petrol engine as before. It is offered with both manual and automatic (CVT) options.

While the Hector now supports E20 fuel, it retains its existing engine lineup:

  • 1.5L Turbo Petrol: This engine delivers 143PS and 250Nm of torque, and is available with a 6-speed manual or CVT.
  • 2.0L Diesel: This engine produces 170PS and 350Nm of torque, and is paired exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission.

MG Hector prices start at Rs. 14 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs. 22.14 lakh for the petrol variants, and Rs. 18.58 lakh to Rs. 22.57 lakh for the diesel variants (all ex-showroom).

The 2025 MG Hector offers the following features:

  • Dual-pane panoramic sunroof
  • 14-inch HD infotainment system
  • Over 70 connected car features
  • ADAS
