Top 5 Features Scorpio N Misses But The Tata Safari Gets | V3Cars
Mahindra have revealed the prices of the much-awaited Scorpio N but the homegrown SUV maker will only start accepting orders from July 30. The new Scorpio N is improved in many aspects but its competition seems to pack more tech and other feel-good features.

Here are the top 5 features that the Scorpio N misses out on but the Safari gets.
1. Panoramic sunroof
The Mahindra Scorpio N comes with a regular electric sunroof whereas the Tata Safari lures potential customers with its large panoramic sunroof. Mahindra could have offered a panoramic sunroof with the Scorpio at least in the top variants, given the fact that much cheaper SUVs, such as the Hyundai Creta, come with panoramic sunroof today.

2. Ventilated Seats
While the Mahindra Scorpio N misses out on ventilated seats, the Tata Safari gets seat ventilation for not only the front seats, but also for the second-row captain seats. The Tata Safari is the most affordable model in India to offer seat ventilation for both front and rear seats.
3. Telescopic Steering
The Mahindra Scorpio N is a lot more expensive than the model it replaces, even though its base variants are competitively priced. However, the Mahindra Scorpio N shockingly misses out on telescopic, or reach adjustment, for the steering wheel across all variants.
4. Auto-dimming IRVM
Like telescopic steering, the Scorpio N also misses out on an auto-dimming inside rear view mirror. This point stands true for the Mahindra XUV700 too, as it only gets a manual day/night IRVM like the Scorpio N. The Safari, on the other hand, comes with an auto dimming IRVM.

5. 3-row AC Vents
The Mahindra Scorpio N comes with a 3-row seating configuration. However, it misses out on AC vents for last row passengers. The Scorpio N gets AC vents for the first- and second-row passengers only. The Tata Safari, on the other hand, comes with AC vents for all 3 rows.
