Tata Nexon EV Max Becomes 1st Electric Vehicle To Cross Umling La Pass | V3Cars
The Tata Nexon EV made its way into the India Book Of Records after crossing the world’s highest motorable pass — the Umling La Pass in Ladakh. Umling La Pass is located 19.024ft above sea level and the Nexon EV Max was the first electric vehicle to cross it. Tata Motors achieved this feat on September 18, 2022.
Ever since its launch, the Nexon is the best-selling electric vehicle in India, with a market share of 63%. Tata Motors have sold 40,000 EVs, out of which 30,000 are Nexon EV SUVs. The new Nexon EV Max enhances the range and performance of the regular Nexon EV that Tata now calls the Nexon EV Prime.
