Leapmotor is an EV brand that is now set to enter the Indian market through Stellantis. The brand is known for its strong focus on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction within the electric mobility sector. Leapmotor’s core mission revolves around low-carbon mobility, which aligns with Stellantis’s global strategy.

In 2024, Leapmotor demonstrated its growth potential by delivering approximately 3 lakh vehicles, effectively doubling their sales compared to the previous year. The company aims to redefine electric mobility on a global scale by offering premium EVs that integrate cutting-edge technology, comfort, and sustainability.

Leapmotor Current Portfolio

Currently, Leapmotor offer 3 models globally – the T03 hatchback, C10 SUV and the new B10 SUV. 

Leapmotor T03

The T03 is a 5-door city hatchback powered by a 37.3kWh battery pack and puts out 95PS of power. It offers a WLTP-claimed range of 265km. It offers features such as an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, WiFi and 4G connectivity, and 15-inch alloy wheels. Safety features include driver and front passenger airbags, front side airbags, side air curtains and Level-2 ADAS.

If launched in India, the Leapmotor T03 could potentially rival the likes of the Tata Tiago EV and the MG Comet EV.

Leapmotor C10 and C10 REEV

The Leapmotor C10 is an electric SUV that could potentially rival the likes of the MG Astor, Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curvv EV and upcoming electric C-SUVs such as the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser EV. It is offered with 2 powertrain options. 

The standard C10 is powered by a 69.9kWh battery pack and offers a WLTP range of 424km. The C10 REEV is equipped with a 28.4kWh battery pack that offers a WLTP range of 145km. However, this can be extended up to 970km using the onboard 1.5L petrol engine.

In terms of features, the C10 offers a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity, wireless charging, 18-inch alloy wheels, flush-type door handles, Level-2 ADAS, and 6 airbags.

Leapmotor B10

The Leapmotor B10 is the brand’s latest SUV. Details regarding this model are scarce at the moment. However, Leapmotor have revealed a few key features of the B10, including a large panoramic sunroof, 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 420 litres of boot space, which is expandable to 1415 litres by folding the 2nd row seats.

With this strategic move, Stellantis aims to leverage Leapmotor's expertise in electric vehicle technology to cater to the evolving demands of Indian consumers and contribute to the growth of the country's electric vehicle sector.
