Hyundai Reveal Creta EV Ahead Of 2025 Auto Expo Debut | V3Cars
Ahead of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Hyundai are generating excitement for their upcoming offering, the 2025 Creta EV. Slated for launch at the Auto Expo 2025 this month, Hyundai have now revealed the Creta Electric via a video on their social media channels. The highly anticipated 5-seater EV is expected to rival the MG ZS EV as well as the upcoming Maruti Suzuki e Vitara and Mahindra BE 6. Here’s what you can expect from the Creta EV 2025.
Hyundai Creta Electric Revealed – Exterior Details
The latest video released by Hyundai shows the Creta Electric finished in a distinctive blue exterior paint that is not available for the Creta petrol and diesel variants. The blue colour is complemented by a contrasting black roof and pillars. The front fascia gets a minor redesign to accommodate a central charging port and a closed-off grille. Changes over the Creta ICE variants include unique pixelated front and rear design with pixelated graphic front grille, front and rear bumper, and pixelated LED reverse lamp. The Creta Electric also features active air flaps on the front bumper to aid efficiency.
An “electric” badge adorns the tailgate, and a dual-pane sunroof is also visible. The Creta EV rolls on newly designed 17-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels with low-rolling resistance tyres. Despite these changes, the side profile, bonnet, and wheel arches maintain the familiar Creta silhouette.

2025 Hyundai Creta Electric – Interior And Features
The 2025 Creta EV boasts a tech-forward cabin featuring a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen and a matching digital instrument cluster. A redesigned steering wheel and a column-mounted drive mode selector further distinguish the EV's interior. Premium features include 6 airbags, Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, and wireless charging. Additional highlights include a 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, a premium audio system, and a layered dashboard design.
2025 Hyundai Creta Electric Expected Powertrain Specs
Hyundai have revealed the 2025 Creta EV will feature 2 battery pack options – 51.4kWh (long range) and 42kWh, offering an ARAI-claimed range of 473km and 390km, respectively. The video also confirms the Creta EV’s vehicle-to-load charging capabilities. However, the exact power and torque figure are still awaited.
Hyundai claim the Creta EV Long Range can accelerate from 0-100kmph in just 7.9 seconds. Hyundai also say the Creta Electric can be charged from 10-80% in just 58 minutes using a DC fast charger, while the 10-100% charge can be accomplished in 4 hours using a 11kW home wall box charger.
We expect Hyundai to price the Creta EV’s base variant from approximately Rs. 18 lakh to Rs. 20 lakh to around Rs. 28 lakh for top variant (all prices, ex-showroom). This positions it to compete with upcoming electric SUVs like the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser EV, Tata Harrier EV, as well as existing models such as the MG ZS EV and Mahindra BE 6.
