Honda Achieves 50,000 ADAS-Enabled Car Sales In India – Amaze, City, Elevate | V3Cars
Honda Cars India have announced a key milestone with 50,000 ADAS-enabled Honda cars now on Indian roads. The latest achievement underscores the Honda Cars India’s commitment to Honda’s global vision of “Safety for Everyone” and its goal to achieve zero traffic collision fatalities involving Honda automobiles by 2050.

Honda Cars With ADAS In India
Honda’s ADAS, which is called Honda SENSING, was first introduced in India with the launch of Honda City Hybrid in May 2022. Recognising the growing importance of safety, Honda expanded its application to other models in its lineup, including the Honda City (March 2023), Honda Elevate (September 2023), and most recently, in Honda Amaze (December 2024). The new 3rd-gen Amaze is currently the most affordable ADAS enabled car in India making this advanced safety technology accessible to a wider range of customers.

- Honda were the first manufacturer to introduce ADAS in a manual transmission-equipped car (Honda City)
- As per current sales trend, the ADAS equipped variants account for over 60%, 95% and 30% in sales of Elevate, City and Amaze respectively
- Among customers who opted for ADAS-equipped models, 1 in every 2 chose the advanced safety technology as their primary reason for purchase
