Toyota Innova Crysta
Toyota Innova Crysta is set to make a comeback with a diesel engine. Toyota could showcase the diesel-powered Innova Crysta at the 2023 Auto Expo alongside the new Innova Hycross hybrid and normal petrol. Toyota are likely to continue with the 2.4L turbo diesel engine in the new Innova Crysta. The engine is expected to receive updates to comply with upcoming BS6 Phase-II emission norms that will take effect in April 2023. The 2.4L diesel engine in the older Innova Crysta offered 150PS of power at 3400rpm and 343Nm of torque between 1400rpm and 2800rpm with the manual transmission and 360Nm of torque between 1400rpm and 2600rpm with the 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
2023 Hyundai Verna
The next-gen Hyundai Verna was caught on test multiple times and it’s likely to make its global debut at the 2023 Auto Expo. The new Hyundai Verna gets a major design overhaul, with key elements inspired by the new Tucson. It is also likely to offer new features, including advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Furthermore, the new Verna could offer petrol and diesel engine options with a mild-hybrid setup to boost efficiency and contain tailpipe emissions. The 2023 Verna will continue to rival the Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Volkswagen Virtus and Skoda Slavia.

The new Creta facelift will come with a Tucson-inspired front profile along with a couple of new features, including advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). In terms of powertrain, the Creta facelift is likely to continue with the same 1.5L normal petrol, 1.5L turbo diesel and 1.4L turbo petrol engine options.

MG launched the Hector back in 2019 and it received a minor update in 2020. MG Motor are now ready to bring a major update for the SUV with a design overhaul and new features. In terms of engine options, the new Hector is expected to come with the same 1.5L turbo petrol and 2.0L turbo diesel powertrains as the current model. The 1.5L turbo petrol is likely to retain its manual and CVT-automatic options.
