Toyota 4x4 X-Pedition Announced

Toyota are planning to hold the ‘Grand National 4x4 X-pedition’ initiative across the country this year. The event will take place in 4 zones — North, East, West and South. These drives have been designed to engage with the country-wide 4x4 SUV community to offer exciting and thrilling off-roading experiences.

The event will feature a range of Toyota SUVs such as the Land Cruiser LC300, Hilux pick-up, Fortuner 4x4 and Urban Cruiser Hyryder all-wheel-drive. The 4x4 expedition isn’t limited to Toyota customers as owners of SUVs from other brands can also participate in this adventure extravaganza. To offer a complete off-road experience, Toyota have designed off-road tracks covering articulation, side inclines, rambler, deep ditch, slush, rocky bed and so on.

The first regional event is set to take place in the southern part of India. The event will kick off in Bangalore and move to cover Hassan and Sakleshpur between May 26 and 28. The first leg of the event will cover an extensive road trip covering historical places before taking a plunge into an array of specially-curated off-road obstacles.

Furthermore, the Great 4x4 X-pedition will also engage the attendees in contributing to social causes. A host of eco activities, such as restoration of the local ecosystem through waste collection and disposal, and tree plantation, have been planned in a bid to conserve natural biodiversity.
