While the Honda Elevate is yet to be assessed by Bharat NCAP or Global NCAP, its performance in JNCAP, known for its stringent testing protocols, provides valuable insight into the SUV’s safety. The Elevate secured an overall score of 176.23 out of 193.8 points, translating to an outstanding 90% overall safety performance.

Honda Elevate JNCAP Test Results Breakdown

The Honda Elevate (WR-V) excelled across various testing parameters:

  • Preventive Safety Performance: The SUV achieved 82.22 out of 85.8 points, scoring 95%. This includes a top Level 5 rating in the Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) evaluation, demonstrating its effectiveness in preventing collisions with pedestrians, cars, and bicycles at various speeds. The vehicle also scored highly in lane departure prevention assist.
  • Collision Safety Performance: The Elevate earned 86.01 out of 100 points, achieving 86%. It secured a top Level 5 rating in the full frontal collision test. In the offset frontal collision test, the Elevate scored 22.42 out of 24 points for occupant protection. The vehicle also demonstrated strong structural integrity in side impact tests, earning a perfect 5 out of 5.
  • Automatic Emergency Call System: The Elevate received a perfect score of 8 out of 8 for its Automatic Emergency Call System.
  • Pedestrian Protection: The Honda Elevate achieved a Level 4 out of 5 for pedestrian head protection and a Level 5 out of 5 for pedestrian leg protection.

In India, the Honda Elevate is available in four variants: SV, V, VX, and ZX, with prices ranging from Rs 11.91 lakh to Rs 16.71 lakh (ex-showroom). Honda also offers a special Black Edition, priced at Rs 16.73 lakh (ex-showroom). The Elevate is powered by a 1.5L normal petrol engine producing 121PS and 145Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox.
