We expect the new innovations to soon filter down to future offerings from Tata Motors. We expect the newly-granted patents to also include autonomous driving assistance systems (ADAS). Multiple rumours suggest that Tata Motors are likely to introduce ADAS and petrol engine options with the upcoming Harrier and Safari facelifts. The recently-showcased Tata Avinya Gen-3 electric vehicle concept also included openable flaps on the wheels for better airflow, which is another patent from Tata Motors.
