In this October 2022 Hyundai car sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Hyundai for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Hyundai cars’ sales improved and which ones declined. October 2022 - Hyundai Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

  • The Creta is a consistent top performer for Hyundai, with almost 12,000 units sold in October 2022.
  • The Creta is the only car from Hyundai with 5-digit production numbers in October. Previously, Venue was the other car selling in 5-digits, but it lost some numbers in the past month. 
  • Disregarding the Kona Electric and Tucson’s numbers for the purpose of this analysis, i20 and Verna were the top gainers in YoY comparison in the month of October with around 19% growth in YoY comparison.
  • Creta was the biggest loser with 8.62% YoY decline. Next on the list are Grand i10 Nios and Alcazar with around 5% decline in YoY production numbers or October.

October 2022 - Hyundai Car Sales Figures - MoM Change

  • The new Tucson is still performing well in the sales charts, with just over a 16% growth in its numbers in October 2022 MoM comparison. It was also the second best gainer from Hyundai’s stable.
  • The Verna was the top gainer with a near 32% gain in numbers in October over last month.
  • The Venue was the top loser with 13% decline in MoM production numbers, followed by Creta with 7.66% decline.
