Let’s first get the variant-wise expected prices out of the way before we can dive deeper into the logic behind the prices.

New 2023 Tata Nexon Variant-wise — Expected Price Summary

The Tata Nexon petrol-manual range could cost between Rs. 8.0 lakh and Rs. 12.50 lakh. Among the Nexon automatic variants, the AMT range could start from Rs. 11.50 lakh and top out at Rs. 12.50 lakh. The ex-showroom prices of the Nexon petrol variants with new 7-speed DCT automatic could start from Rs. 12.0 lakh and go up to Rs. 13.80 lakh.

Nexon diesel-manual is available in Pure and higher variants while the diesel-automatic (AMT) is available in Creative and higher variants only. The diesel manual variants of the Nexon could start at Rs 11.0 lakh and stretch as high as Rs. 13.90 lakh. The diesel AMT automatic trims could cost between Rs. 12.70 lakh and go up to Rs. 14.70 lakh.

New Generation Tata Nexon 2023 — Powertrain/Engine Options

The new Nexon will continue with the 1.2L turbo petrol engine and the 1.5L turbo diesel engine. Both the engines will also continue with the 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT automatic transmission options. In addition, Tata Motors are offering a 5-speed manual with the Nexon petrol’s lower variants while the higher variants are getting a new 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

In terms of features, the next-generation Nexon will get the following new features:

Old Tata Nexon Price Range - For Reference

At the time of discontinuation, the old Nexon cost between Rs. 8.0 lakh and Rs. 14.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The petrol-manual range started at Rs. 8.0 lakh and went up to Rs. 12.55 lakh. The petrol-automatic variants cost between Rs. 9.65 lakh and Rs. 13.20 lakh.

The old Nexon diesel-manual variants carried an ex-showroom price ranging from Rs. 10.0 lakh to Rs. 13.95 lakh. Finally, the diesel-automatic variants cost between Rs. 11.45 lakh and Rs.14.60 lakh.

The petrol and diesel AMT automatic transmission cost Rs. 65,000 more than the comparable manual transmission variants.
