2024 MG Windsor Starts At 13.5 Lakh; Variant-Wise Price List Without BaaS Announced | V3Cars

The price jump from the base variant to the mid variant is only Rs. 1.0 lakh and the Exclusive variant costs Rs. 14.50 lakh (ex-showroom) without the battery subscription (Baas). Likewise, the price premium from the mid to Windsor top model (Windsor Essence) is also Rs. 1.0 lakh and it costs Rs. 15.50 lakh.

Since all 3 variants come with the same battery and motor specifications, we can safely say that the battery itself costs Rs. 3.50 lakh. Thus, the prices of the Windsor EV’s higher Exclusive and Essence variants with the battery subscription is Rs. 10.99 lakh and Rs. 11.99 lakh, respectively.

MG Comet Now With BaaS @ Rs. 4.99 Lakh

MG also recently introduced the BaaS (battery subscription) option with the Comet and ZS EV. With this option, the Comet became Rs. 2.0 lakh cheaper compared to the outright burying price for the compact city EV. So, we know that with this method, the 17.3kWh battery pack in the Comet ends up costing Rs. 2.0 lakh as the Comet with BaaS costs Rs. 4.99 lakh.

MG ZS EV Now With BaaS @ Rs. 13.99 Lakh

Similarly, the ZS EV launched at Rs. 13.99 lakh with BaaS making it Rs. 5.0 lakh cheaper than the full ex-showroom price. This means that the ZS EV’s 50.6kWh battery pack costs Rs. 5.0 lakh to the carmaker.
