Kia India have launched the updated version of their flagship electric vehicle, the Kia EV6, at a price of Rs. 65.9 lakh (ex-showroom). The new EV6 comes with significant enhancements in design, range, safety technology, and connectivity, aiming to set new benchmarks in the premium EV segment. The 2025 Kia EV6 showcases a sportier and more aggressive front fascia, drawing inspiration from Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy. Key exterior highlights include:

  • New connected DRLs with sequential turn indicators
  • Redesigned GT-Line front bumper
  • 19-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels
  • LED taillamps with sequential turn indicators

Inside, the new EV6 offers a premium and spacious cabin with a focus on luxury and comfort. Notable interior upgrades include a new double D-cut steering wheel with hands-on detection technology and dual 12.3-inch curved displays for infotainment, navigation and driver’s display.

Kia EV6 Facelift – Improved Safety With ADAS Upgrade

Safety has been significantly upgraded with the inclusion of the ADAS 2.0 package, featuring a total of 27 safety and driver assistance features, including 5 new autonomous functionalities:

  • Forward Collision Assist - Junction Turning
  • Forward Collision Assist - Junction Crossing
  • Forward Collision Assist - Lane Change Assist
  • Forward Collision Assist - Evasive Steering Assist
  • Lane Follow Assist (Upgraded)

The EV6 facelift also comes equipped with the latest Kia Connect 2.0 suite, offering over 100 connected features, including:

  • Kia Connect Diagnostics (KCD) for remote vehicle diagnostics
  • Over-the-air (OTA) software updates for 34 ECU controllers
  • Digital Key 2.0 with Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology for seamless smartphone-based access and sharing

Kia EV6 Facelift Performance And Powertrain Specs

Built on Kia’s dedicated Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the new EV6 delivers both performance and efficiency. Equipped with a new 84kWh battery pack, the EV6 facelift offers an ARAI-certified range of 663km on a single charge. In comparison, the outgoing model was equipped with a 77.4kWh battery and offered an ARAI-certified range of 708km.

The AWD GT-Line variant of the 2025 EV6 delivers a power output of 325PS and 605Nm of torque, while Kia’s 800V architecture allows for ultra-fast DC charging, enabling the EV6 to charge from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes using a 350kW fast charger.

Kia EV6 Facelift Variants And Colour Options

Unlike the outgoing model, the new Kia EV6 2025 is only available in a single, fully loaded GT-Line variant with all-wheel drive (AWD). Customers can choose from 5 exterior colour options: 

  • White
  • Black
  • Grey
  • Red
  • Matte Blue
