2022 Hyundai Ioniq 6 Battery And Power Specs Revealed | V3Cars
Hyundai have revealed the battery and power specifications of the Ioniq 6 electric coupe sedan. It comes with a 77.4kWh battery pack and a claimed range of 610km on a single charge. Hyundai claim the Ioniq 6 is one of the most-efficient EVs in the world, with a consumption of 14kWh/100km.
Based on the e-GMP platform, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 comes with two battery options — 53kWh and 77.4kWh. The smaller battery pack comes with a rear-wheel-drive setup and is claimed to be one of the most-efficient powertrains in the market. The 77.4kWh battery pack comes with both rear- and all-wheel-drive drivetrain options. In its fully loaded trim, the Ioniq 6 all-wheel-drive develops 325PS of power and 605Nm of torque. It can also do a 0-100kmph sprint in just 5.1 seconds.

Like the Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, the Ioniq 6 also supports 400V and 800V charging. If you are fortunate to find yourself a 350kW fast charger, the Ioniq 6 can juice itself up from 10%-80% in just 18 minutes. In addition to that, the Ioniq 6 is capable of charging other appliances and even other electric vehicles.
The new Ioniq 6 gets a low-slung front nose with a flowing design for the side panels. Hyundai have also used wheel gap reducers to further reduce the drag. It gets all-LED headlights atop a flat blacked-out border covering the width of the front profile.

At the side, the Ioniq 6 draws some inspiration from the CLA and CLS coupes from Mercedes, with a sweeping window line. Apart from that, the side profile of the Ioniq 6 is plain and looks functional, save for the swanky alloy wheels. At the rear, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 gets a boat tail design with an integrated spoiler. Falling in line with all new age Hyundais, the Ioniq 6 also gets connected LED tail lights with a similar LED pattern earlier seen in the Ioniq 5 electric crossover.
