Hyundai Grand i10 Facelift Spotted Again Ahead Of Launch | V3Cars
Launched in 2019, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios consistently ranks among the top 3 best-selling B1-segment hatchback in the country. However, over the last few months, it has been trading the 3rd spot with the Tata Tiago. Hyundai aim to solidify the Grand i10 Nios’ position by launching a facelift early next year. The Grand i10 Nios was spotted testing recently with heavy camouflage. Here are some of the details we could gather from the latest spy shots.
2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Facelift — Exterior
THe Hyundai Grand i10 Nios facelift is likely to feature several minor changes to its exterior design. Up front, the Grand i10 Nios facelift is likely to receive a new grille with a mesh pattern. The LED daytime running lamps (DRLs), which were earlier positioned on the edges of the grille, seem to have moved to the lower bumper. Meanwhile, Hyundai have retained the halogen projector headlamps.
While the side profile does not show any massive changes, we expect Hyundai to offer the Grand i10 Nios facelift with new 15-inch machined alloy wheels. The spy shots of the test mules show 2 variants, one of which is equipped with wheel covers while the other gets alloy wheels from the current model. The images also reveal other details about the Grand i10 Nios’ base variant. They include black door handles,
Black ORVM casings, fender-mounted indicators and a roof antenna.

2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Facelift — Interior
While the spy shots do not give us a glimpse of the interior, we expect the new Grand i10 Nios facelift to offer a few design updates such as a revised dashboard layout and new upholstery. . Furthermore, it could offer a digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, cruise control, rear AC vents and a new infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Facelift — Powertrain Options
The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios facelift is likely to retain the current model’s engine options. These include a 1.2L normal petrol, a 1.2L petrol-CNG and a 1.0L turbo petrol engine. Hyundai are unlikely to tweak the performance figures of these engines. However, they will be updated to comply with the BS6 phase-2 emission norms.

2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Facelift — Launch Timeline And Rivals
Hyundai India are likely to reveal the Grand i10 Nios facelift at the 2023 Auto Expo. The updated Grand i10 Nios will continue to rival the Maruti Suzuki Swift, Citroen C3 and Tata Tiago. The base variants will also rival the Maruti Suzuki cars like the WagonR, Ignis and Celerio. In addition to the Grand i10 Nios facelift, Hyundai are also likely to reveal the new-gen Verna and Creta facelift at the upcoming auto show.
