Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Gets 6 Airbags As Standard; Prices Revised | V3Cars

Hyundai recently announced that they are making 6 airbags standard across their entire range. This news brings the front side thorax and curtain airbags to all variants of the Grand i10 Nios hatchback. This feature addition also makes the Nios the most affordable car in India with 6 airbags. It’s worth noting that with the BS6 phase 2 update, the Grand i10 Nios had already become the most affordable car with 5x 3-point seatbelts.

Earlier, the Nios had 4 airbags as standard while the curtain airbags were only available with the top-spec Asta variant. Hyundai recently also made the Venue the most affordable car with ADAS technology. These moves establish Hyundai as a safety-conscious brand. Their decisions to add more and more safety features to their cars conveys a consistent message.
