Hyundai Won’t Launch The Creta Facelift In 2023 | V3Cars
As per a new report, the Hyundai Creta facelift will not launch in 2023. The Creta is one of the best-selling SUVs in the country and the leader of the C-segment SUVs.
Hyundai Creta Facelift Not Coming Before 2024
Hyundai launched the Creta back in 2015 and it was followed by a facelift in 2018 and a generation change in 2020. The new-gen Creta is the best-selling C-segment SUV in the Indian market. Meanwhile, Hyundai took the wraps off the Creta facelift in global markets last year. Following a general product lifecycle, a vehicle receives a facelift post 3 years after its launch and a generation change around 3 years after the launch of the facelift.

In the case of the Creta, it’s time for Hyundai to bring the Creta facelift to our shores to answer the rising competition from the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder. Hyundai Creta’s cousin, the Kia Seltos, is also likely to get a facelift soon and we expect it to hit our shores earlier than the Creta facelift. Kia launched the Seltos back in 2019 whereas the new Creta was launched in 2020. Hence, Kia are likely to bring the Seltos first.

Hyundai Creta Facelift Changes Explained
The Hyundai Creta facelift sports a new face that is similar to that of the recently-launched Hyundai Tucson. The LED DRLs merge seamlessly with the grille and seem like a single unit when turned off. The LED headlights sit lower on the bumper. Other changes include a sculpted tailgate and tweaked LED tail lights. In terms of features, the new Creta could incorporate features like advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and a 360-degree parking camera.

In terms of powertrain, the Creta facelift is likely to continue with the 1.5L normal petrol and 1.5L turbo diesel engines. Rumours suggest that Hyundai will soon replace the 1.4L turbo petrol engine with a new 1.5L turbo petrol engine. The same is likely to come in the Creta facelift as well. Transmission options will include the 6-speed manual, 6-speed auto-clutch manual, CVT, 6-speed torque converter automatic and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Hi Team, I wanted suggestion from you regarding Creta facelift. I am waiting since April 2022 for Creta faclift. Should I go with the current version now since the wait is now increasing day by day if it is still going to take more time. Also if you have some news on facelift launch schedule then please share.
