Honda To Launch Elevate SUV Tomorrow | V3Cars

Honda Cars India will launch the new Elevate SUV tomorrow. Honda revealed the Elevate SUV on June 5, 2023 and opened bookings for the SUV on July 3. Read on to know more about the Honda Elevate C-segment SUV ahead of its launch.

2023 Honda Elevate Launch Details And Rivals

The new Elevate is Honda’s all-new offering in the Indian market since the launch of the Honda City back in 2020. Upon launch, the Honda Elevate will rival a whole host of C-segment SUVs, such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Setlos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and Citroen C3 Aircross.

The Honda Elevate offers the same 1.5L normal petrol engine as the City sedan. It produces 121PS of power at 6600rpm and 145Nm of torque at 4300rpm. The engine can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-step continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Honda Elevate Price Range

Since the Elevate is following the exact same 4-variant lineup as the City, with the petrol-manual powertrain, it could start at Rs. 12.20 lakh (ex-showroom). The Elevate petrol-manual variants could top out at Rs. 15.70 lakh.

Just like the Honda City, the automatic transmission variants could carry about Rs. 1.30 lakh higher ex-showroom price over comparable petrol-manual variants. In the City, automatic variants cost Rs. 1.25 lakh more than manual. Since the base model won’t get the automatic transmission, we would say that the Elevate’s petrol-automatic range could cost between Rs. 14.60 lakh and Rs. 17.0 lakh (ex-showroom).
