In this August 2023 Hyundai car sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Hyundai for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM changes to find out which Hyundai cars’ sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Hyundai cars.

The Creta is a consistent top seller for Hyundai, with about 13,800 units sold in August 2023.
The Creta and Venue were the only cars from Hyundai’s stable with a 5-digit sales number in August 2023.
Verna was the top-gaining car amongst the high-volume Hyundai cars with over 48.56% growth.
Among the losers, the i20 and Alcazar saw a similar decline of around 35% decline in sales in our August YoY comparison.
They were followed by Tucson with a 31% YoY decline in comparison analysis for the month of August.

August 2023 - Hyundai Car Sales Figures - MoM Change

Most cars reported a growth in MoM comparison analysis for the month of August. 7 out of 11 cars from Hyundai that are on sale in the Indian market currently saw growth in dispatches over those in July 2023.
Speaking of mass-market gainers, Grand i10 Nios reported a 37% gain in MoM comparison analysis for the month of August over July. But it is worth noting that Ioniq 5, which is a very low-volume car, reported over 50% MoM growth in August over July.
Verna was the top loser with a 9.87% MoM drop in August, whereas i20 reported a drop of 2.10% over its July sales figures.
