The Atto 3 takes the design inspiration from gym equipment and music instruments. It gets rubber strings to hold your bottles, mimicking the feel of a guitar whereas the centre armrest also gets a treadmill-inspired finish.

BYD Atto 3 Powertrain Details

The India-bound BYD Atto 3 electric crossover comes with a 60.48kWh battery pack, which gives it an ARAI-certified range of 521km on a single charge. Additionally, the Atto 3 offers 203PS of power and 310Nm of torque, which are class leading. It can do a 0-100kmph sprint in just 7.3 seconds that is class-leading. In terms of charging, the Atto 3 is capable of charging from 0-80% in just 50 minutes via a 50kW DC fast charger.

BYD Atto 3 Rivals

BYD Atto 3 is currently the most-expensive EV in its class but also the only one with ADAS and it has the longest range of more than 500km. Its rivals include the Tata Nexon EV Max, MG ZS EV, Hyundai Kona EV and the upcoming Mahindra XUV400. However, the Atto 3 offers multiple features like ADAS and swirling touchscreen infotainment system that are unseen in the segment along with class leading power output and driving range.
