Toyota showcased the Prius Flex-Fuel Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) at the Auto Expo 2025, highlighting their commitment to exploring alternative fuel technologies. Prius Flex-Fuel PHEV Powertrain And Performance

The Prius Flex-Fuel PHEV is powered by a 2L Atkinson-cycle engine producing 223PS of power and 190Nm of torque. This engine works in conjunction with a 120kW electric motor generating 208Nm of torque.

The vehicle features a 13.6kWh lithium-ion battery pack, enabling an electric-only driving range of up to 87km. This makes it a practical option for shorter commutes and city driving on electric power alone.  

Prius Flex-Fuel Design And Dimensions

The Prius Flex-Fuel PHEV’s design is consistent with the latest fifth-generation Prius model, with minor distinctions like PHEV badging on the tailgate to differentiate it from the standard hybrid variant. The exterior features a futuristic front fascia with slim headlights, eyebrow-like DRLs, and a sleek air dam. The rear includes prominent “PRIUS” lettering and a small “PHEV” badge on the lower right.

The Prius Flex-Fuel PHEV’s dimensions are as follows: 

4,599 mm in length, 1,782 mm in width, and 1,430 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. It has a front-wheel-drive setup and a gross vehicle weight of 1,995 kg.
