1 New BYD Cars At 2025 Auto Expo – Sealion 7 | V3Cars

1. Sealion 7

BYD is gearing up to expand its electric vehicle lineup in India with the much-anticipated launch of the Sealion 7 SUV. Scheduled to debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, this premium coupe-SUV will join BYD’s existing offerings in India, including the Seal sedan, Atto 3 SUV, and eMax 7 MPV.

The Sealion 7 is built on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0 Evo and features the cutting-edge Blade battery technology. Available in 2 battery configurations—82.5 kWh and 91.3 kWh—the SUV caters to diverse driving needs. The 82.5 kWh variant offers RWD and AWD options with ranges of 482km and 456km, respectively. Meanwhile, the 91.3 kWh AWD model delivers an impressive 502km range (WLTP).

In terms of power, the RWD model generates 313PS and 380Nm of torque, while the AWD versions produce a robust 530PS and 690Nm of torque. All configurations support 150kW DC fast charging, enabling a 10-80% charge in just 32 minutes.

The Sealion 7 SUV reflects BYD’s signature design language, boasting flared wheel arches, sweptback LED headlights with DRLs, and a bold front fascia. Its rear features a two-tone bumper, roof spoiler, and wraparound LED taillights connected by an LED light bar.

Inside, the SUV offers a luxurious cabin equipped with a 15.6-inch rotating infotainment screen, a 10.25-inch digital cluster, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and a 12-speaker Dynaudio system. Safety and convenience are enhanced with 9 airbags, a 360-degree camera, and advanced ADAS features.

Expected to hit the market in March 2025, the BYD Sealion 7 will serve as the brand’s flagship model in India. With prices starting around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom), it aims to set new standards in the luxury EV segment.
