JSW MG Motor India revealed the new Cyberster electric sportscar at the 2025 Auto Expo today. The 2025 Cyberster EV will serve as the MG’s halo product and the brand will sell their new electric sportscar through its new premium retail chain called MG Select. 2025 MG Cyberster Design – Gets Electric Scissor Doors!

The 2025 MG Cyberster boasts a stunning design with a low bonnet, sleek LED headlamps with LED DRLs and a split air intake up front. The rear end, meanwhile, features arrow-shaped tail lamps with a connecting light bar above it.

MG have also equipped the Cyberster EV with electric scissor doors that can open and close in 5 seconds with just the touch of a button. The scissor doors are equipped with built-in radar sensors that can detect obstacles or obstructions in the vicinity of the doors as they open and close. This is crucial to prevent accidental damage to the car or surrounding objects.

2025 MG Cyberster Electric Motor And Battery Specifications

JSW MG Motor India revealed the specifications of the Cyberster electric sportscar a month before its reveal at the Auto Expo 2025. While the MG Cyberster is available in 2 variants – GT and Trophy Extended Range – with 2 powertrain options, MG are only offering the top-spec GT variant in India.

The India-spec GT variant of the Cyberster gets dual electric motors and produces a combined power output of 510PS of power and 725Nm of torque. It can hit 0-100kmph in 3.2 seconds and the top speed is rated at 208kmph. The MG Cyberster GT variant offers a WLTP-claimed range of 443km.

2025 MG Cyberster Features – Screens Galore

The 2025 MG Cyberster boasts a technologically advanced interior. A trio of digital displays, including a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and two 7-inch screens, provide essential driving information.

Key features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, ventilated seats, and an electrically adjustable driver’s seat. A premium Bose surround sound system enhances the in-car entertainment experience.

Safety is paramount, with the Cyberster equipped with multiple airbags, a 360-degree surround view camera, and an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS). Standard safety features also include ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, traction control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

2025 MG Cyberster Ex-Showroom Price And Booking Details

At the Auto Exp 2025, MG Motor officials stated that reservations for the 2025 Cyberster are now open. However, bookings for the electric sportscar will only begin in March 2025 and deliveries will commence a month later, in April.

We expect the price of the upcoming Cyberster electric sports car to be around Rs. 99.90 lakh (ex-showroom). While it lacks direct rivals in India, it can be considered as an electric alternative to the BMW Z4 convertible.

MG has confirmed that the Cyberster will be exclusively available through its new premium retail chain, MG Select. The brand plans to establish 12 MG Select dealerships across major Indian cities, promising a redefined luxury car buying experience.
