Tata Nexon CNG Red Dark Exterior Enhancements
Like the Red Dark edition of the Nexon petrol, the new Nexon CNG Red Dark edition gets an all-black exterior theme. It gets various blacked-out elements such as a gloss black front grille, front and rear skid plates, roof rails, and black-painted alloy wheels. The “#Dark” emblem on the front fenders further distinguishes this edition.
Tata Nexon CNG Red Dark Interior Design And Features
Inside, the Nexon CNG Red Dark edition features red seat upholstery with “#Dark” embossing on the front headrests. The dashboard follows an all-black theme with red stitching. Feature-wise, the Red Dark edition mirrors the standard Nexon CNG. Notable features include:
- 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system
- Digital driver’s display
- Panoramic sunroof
- 360-degree surround-view camera
Tata Nexon CNG Engine And Performance
The Tata Nexon CNG is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged engine, coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission. An AMT option may be introduced later. When running on CNG, the 1.2L turbocharged engine delivers 100PS of power and 170Nm of peak torque. The claimed mileage for the Tata Nexon CNG is 24km/kg.
In terms of rivals, the Nexon CNG Red Dark edition goes up against the Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG, which is priced from Rs. 9.29 lakh to Rs. 12.10 lakh (ex-showroom).
