Tata Altroz CNG Expected Prices
Tata Motors will offer the Altroz CNG in 4 variants. Take a look at the expected prices of all Altroz CNG variants.:

Tata Motors generally charge a premium of Rs. 90,000 for the CNG variants over the corresponding petrol variants of their models. However, since the Altroz CNG offers Tata’s new twin CNG cylinder technology, we expect the carmaker to charge a premium of Rs. 95,000 for the CNG variants over the corresponding petrol variants of the Altroz.

Tata Altroz CNG Powertrain Details
The Tata Altroz CNG gets a 3-cylinder 1.2L normal petrol engine. It offers 77PS of power at 6000rpm and 97Nm of torque at 3500rpm when running on CNG. The power and torque output are 2PS and 2Nm more than that of the Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG, which share the same engine as the Altroz CNG. The Altroz CNG will be offered with a 5-speed manual transmission only. Tata Motors are yet to reveal the claimed fuel efficiency figures for the Altroz CNG.

The highlight of the Altroz CNG is its twin CNG cylinder technology, which replaces the large single CNG cylinder with 2 smaller CNG cylinders. As a result, the Altroz CNG manages to offer a boot space of 150L.

Tata Altroz CNG Launch Details
Tata Motors have already commenced bookings for the Altroz CNG with a token amount of Rs. 21,000. Tata Motors will begin deliveries of the Altroz CNG in May 2023, and we expect its launch to take place in the coming weeks. The Altroz CNG will rival other premium CNG hatchbacks like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno CNG and Toyota Glanza CNG.
