2024 Mahindra XUV700 Safety Rating

The Global NCAP crash tested the Mahindra XUV700 in November 2021. It became the second Mahindra SUV after the XUV300 to score a 5-star safety rating for adult occupant protection from the global crash testing agency. In the child occupant protection test, it scored a 4-star rating.

The XUV700 scored 16.03 points out of 17 points for adult safety and 41.66 out of 49 points for child occupants safety. The adult safety score of the XUV700 lags behind that of the Tata Punch, Altroz, Nexon and Mahindra XUV300. However, the XUV700’s child safety score is the best ever for any made-in-India car. The Thar and Punch are the only other cars with a child safety score of more than 40 out of 49. The test reports that the car offered good protection to the driver and front passenger’s head, neck, chest and knees. The bodyshell and footwell area was rated stable.

The Mahindra XUV700 2024 is offered with a 5-seater and 7-seater layout and it rivals other D1-segment SUVs like the Tata Harrier, Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, and the MG Hector and Hector Plus. The 2024 XUV700 is priced from Rs. 14.49 lakh to Rs. 26.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
