Here’s a list of all upcoming Mahindra cars that are set to launch in India in 2024. Mahindra’s upcoming cars in 2024 include the Thar 5 door, a longer version of their rugged off-road SUV, and the XUV e8, an electric version of their flagship SUV. 1. Mahindra Thar 5 Door - March 2024
The much-awaited Mahindra Thar 5 Door will finally launch in 2024. However, the exact launch timeline for the Thar 5 Door is not available at the moment. Numerous spy shots of the Thar 5 Door emerged online recently, suggesting it is close to hitting the production line. The Thar 5 Door is expected to offer several more features than the Thar 3 Door. 2. Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus - May 2024
The Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus is set to replace the now-discontinued TUV300 Plus in Mahindra’ lineup. The Bolero Neo Plus was launched in September 2023, albeit as an ambulance. The passenger version of the Bolero Neo Plus is expected to go on sale in May 2024. At 4400mm, it is 405mm longer than the standard Bolero Neo. Additionally, it gets a a larger 2.2-litre diesel engine over the standard Bolero Neo’s 1.5-litre diesel engine. We expect the Bolero Neo Plus prices to start from Rs. 12.0 lakh onwards.

3. Mahindra XUV300 Facelift - Mid 2024
The Mahindra XUV300 facelift is currently undergoing testing and various spy shots suggest it could receive a revised front end inspired by Mahindra’s upcoming range of BE electric SUVs. We expect the Mahindra XUV300 facelift to feature the same powertrain options as the current model. The XUV300 is currently powered by 3 engine options – a 1.2L turbo petrol with multipoint fuel injection, a 1.2L turbo petrol with direct injection and a 1.5L turbo diesel engine.
The 1.2L turbo petrol with multipoint fuel injection puts out 110PS of power and 200Nm of torque and comes with a 6-speed manual transmission. The 1.2L turbo petrol with direct injection produces 130PS of power and 230Nm of torque and comes with 2 transmission options – a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). The 1.5-litre turbo diesel generates 117PS of power and 300Nm of torque. It is offered with the 6-speed MT and 6-speed AMT.

4. Mahindra XUV e8 - December 2024
Next up could be the all-electric version of the XUV700. Various spy shots of the XUV e8 over the past year have revealed its design details such as the full-width LED DRL with horizontal elements at the corners of the front bumper, vertically stacked LED projector headlamps with ice cube shaped LED fog lamps, and an enclosed front grille. The side profile and the rear are likely to be similar to the XUV700 as the test mule features the same silhouette and LED tail lamps as the ICE-powered SUV. The production-spec XUV.e8 is expected to offer aero wheels and bronze accents all around.
The latest spy shots suggest the production-spec XUV.e8 could feature 3 screens inside the cabin – one for the driver, one for infotainment and one for the front passenger. The spy shots also reveal a 2-spoke steering wheel, conventional gear lever with a round dial to toggle between the various drive modes.
The XUV.e8 or XUV700 electric is expected to be based on Mahindra’s new INGLO platform. It is likely to be powered by BYD’s prismatic blade cell batteries, with capacities ranging from 60kWh to 80kWh depending on the variant. Reports suggest the XUV.e8 could be offered with the option of a single electric motor at the rear axle and dual electric motors at either axle for all-wheel drive capabilities. The XUV.e8 is likely to offer a power output ranging between 227PS to 345PS, a real-world range of over 400km on a single charge, and should be capable of hitting a top speed of 200kmph.
