2. Kia Carnival (KA4) - Mid 2024
Kia showcased the new Carnival MPV with the KA4 moniker at the 2023 Auto Expo. The new Carnival KA4 adopts a more boxy, SUV-ish design language compared to its predecessor’s van-like design. The boxy design should appeal to a lot more customers when the D2-segment MPV goes on sale in September 2024. Meanwhile, Kia have launched the Carnival facelift in select global markets and we expect this version to make it to India. 3. Kia Clavis - Diwali 2024
Kia recently trademarked the Clavis name in India and reports suggest it could be a potential rival to the Tata Punch and Hyundai Exter B1-segment SUVs. In a recent interaction with Kia’s national head of sales and marketing, Mr. Hardeep Singh Brar, we learned that Kia India currently do not have any plans on launching hatchbacks or sedans in the country yet. Since entering India, Kia have quickly become the 5th largest carmaker in the country on the back of the success of its SUVs such as the Seltos and Sonet and MPVs such as the Carens and Carnival. Hence, we are confident the Clavis would definitely be an SUV. However, we are awaiting more details to see where the Clavis would fit into Kia India’s portfolio. But all the information we currently have point towards the Clavis being a B1-segment SUV. Know more about the Clavis by tapping the link below.

The 3-row electric SUV is similar in size to the Kia Telluride and it is expected to cost between Rs. 80.0 lakh - Rs. 90.0 lakh in India. The Kia EV9 comes with a 99.8kWh battery pack that channels power to 2 electric motors. The dual motor long range model offers 385PS of power and 600Nm of torque.
