MPV Segment July 2023 Car Sales - YoY Change

  • Maruti Ertiga saw a growth in dispatches of around 48% drop in July 2023 YoY comparison analysis
  • Maruti Suzuki Ertiga was the top selling car in the category with about 14,300 units sold in July
  • Toyota’s Innova badged MPVs with 29.49% YoY growth were the second top gainers in July YoY comparison analysis
  • 81 units of the Marazzo from Mahindra were dispatched in the month of July, which is a decline of over 62% compared to that of July of 2023

MPV Segment July 2023 Car Sales - MoM Change

  • Among MPVs, the Maruti Suzuki Eeco and Ertiga were the top 2 sellers in July, where Eeco reported a growth of 28.68% and Ertiga saw a rise of over 70% in July MoM comparison analysis
  • Ertiga was the top gainer in July MoM comparison analysis
  • Maruti’s XL6 also reported a healthy MoM growth of over 50% in July
  • On the other hand, Carens from Kia, which reported a 25%+ decline in MoM comparison was the top losing car in the month of July
  • Renault reported a decline of 20.16% in MoM comparison analysis for the month of July over June for 2023
