Kia Carens Launching On February 15 | V3Cars
Kia will launch the Carens on February 15, 2022. All the details about the Carens except for the prices are already available. Kia recently started the production of this 3-row car in their Anantapur plant. They also opened the bookings for the Carens in January for a token amount of Rs. 25,000. If you are planning to book the Carens and are confused about which among the 5 variants to book, you can watch our variants explained video.
Carens is a 3-row MPV with SUV styling. It has the option of 6 and 7 seat configuration. The option of 6-seat is only available in the top-spec Luxury Plus trim. Because of its SUV-inspired MPV styling the Carens may not only compete with the MPVs but also 3-row SUVs. The Kia Carens could compete with MPVs like the Maruti Suzuki Nexa XL6, Mahindra Marazzo and the super popular Toyota Innova Crysta. On the SUV-front, it will become another option for 3-row SUV buyers currently considering the Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Mahindra XUV700. We expect Kia to price the Carens between Rs. 11.0 lakh and Rs. 17.0 lakh (ex-showroom). Once the exact prices are out, we’ll find out exactly which 3-row cars will end up in Kia’s crosshairs.
