5 Features Toyota Urban Cruiser Gets But Kia Sonet Doesn’t | V3Cars
The Kia Sonet is one of the best-selling B2-segment SUVs in the country. Ever since its launch, the Sonet has gained the tag of the most feature-rich sub-compact SUV in the country. While Maruti Suzuki have launched the new-gen Brezza, Toyota’s Urban Cruiser is based on the previous-gen Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. However, this has allowed Toyota to offer the Urban Cruiser at a competitive price.

In this article, we share the list of features that you get in the Kia Sonet over the Toyota Urban Cruiser.
1. Height Adjustable Seatbelts
The Toyota Urban Cruiser offers height adjustable seatbelts in its top variants. The Kia Sonet, on the other hand, doesn’t offer height-adjustable seatbelts even in the top variants. Height adjustable seatbelts let a child or a short person adjust the height of the seatbelt for better comfort.
2. Cooled Glove Box
The Urban Cruiser offers a cooled glove box that keeps your drinks and beverages cool. The Urban Cruiser also offers a secondary globe box on the dashboard. The Sonet, on the other hand, doesn’t offer a cooled glove box.

3. LED Projector Fog Lamps
The Urban Cruiser comes with reflector-type LED fog lights that offer great illumination. The Sonet, on the other hand, gets halogen-based projector fog lamps.LED fog lights give the Urban Cruiser a premium appeal whereas the halogen fog lamps on the Sonet offer better illumination in foggy conditions.
4. 60:40 Rear Seat Split
The Urban Cruiser offers 60:40 split seats at the rear whereas the Sonet’s rear seat back folds as a single unit. A 60:40 split offers a lot more versatility in terms of seating and caro hauling capabilities. Hence, it makes the car a lot more practical.

5. 12V Rear Power Socket
The Urban Cruiser offers a rear 12V charging socket whereas the Sonet comes with a USB-A charging socket. While the USB charging port is useful to charge your devices, the 12V socket lets you plug accessories like a tyre inflator and vacuum cleaner.
