2023 Honda City Facelift To Feature ADAS – Even With Manual Transmission | V3Cars
Honda Cars India are all set to launch the 2023 City C-segment sedan on March 2, 2023. Ahead of its launch, a new YouTube video confirms that both the manual and automatic powertrains of the City petrol will offer advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
2023 Honda City Facelift To Offer ADAS
A new YouTube video confirms that the Honda City facelift will offer ADAS features. Earlier, these ADAS features were only available in the City e:HEV strong hybrid. However, it is interesting to note that ADAS will be offered with both the manual and automatic transmission variants of the 2023 City sedan. That said, Honda are yet to confirm if adaptive cruise control will be exclusive to the automatic variants or both automatic and manual-equipped variants as well.

2023 Honda City Facelift Powertrain Details
Honda will offer the City facelift with normal petrol and strong hybrid petrol engine options. Honda have already discontinued the 1.5L turbo diesel engine from the Amaze and City and it is unlikely to make a comeback due to ever-tightening emission norms in the country. Both the 1.5L normal petrol and strong hybrid powertrains of the new City will comply with BS6 phase-2 emission norms. Both engines are likely to comply with E20 fuel as well.
2023 Honda City Facelift Launch Details
Honda will announce the prices of the 2023 City on March 2, 2023. The arch rival of the Honda City — the Hyundai Verna — is set to receive a generation change on March 21, 2023. The new City facelift will continue to rival the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz in India.
