Most Notable Features Of Toyota BZ4X EV

The most notable features of the Toyota BZ4X electric SUV are its platform, dual electric motors and design. The BZ4X features a futuristic design compared to Toyota’s conventional design. It gets thick black cladding with a glossy finish around the wheel arches, emphasising its all-wheel-drive capabilities. At the front, the BZ4X electric car features slim headlamps that house quad LED projector units and a slim LED DRL on top. The grille is quite slim and the overall design at the front is aggressive yet minimal. At the side, apart from the black cladding, the most standout element are the 20-inch machined alloy wheels and a slanting roofline. The rear of the BZ4X features a split spoiler while the connected LED tail lights emphasises the width of the electric SUV.

On the inside, the BZ4X features an all-digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The BZ4X 5-seater SUV features a fixed panoramic moonroof, heated and ventilated seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The touchscreen 12.3-inch infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and come connected to a 9-speaker JBL sound system.

Toyota BZ4X Electric Motor Specs

The Toyota BZ4X is available in 2 variants in international markets – 1XM (single motor) and 1YM (dual motor). Both variants come equipped with a 71.4kWh battery pack. The BZ4X with the single motor configuration puts out 204PS of power while the dual motor variant of Toyota electric SUV produces a combined power output of 218PS. The front-wheel-drive variant of the BZ4X offers a claimed range of 510km while the dual motor version offers 460km on a single charge. Both variants come with 2 drive modes – eco and normal – and both also feature regenerative braking with boost mode. The all-wheel-drive BZ4X also offers snow, dirt, deep snow, mud and grip modes.

The Toyota BZ4X electric SUV belongs to the D1 segment and if launched in India, it will go up against the likes of the Volvo XC40 Recharge, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6.
