MG eMG5 Exterior Design
The new eMG6 takes the design inspiration from the regular MG5 and adds a lot of sporty touches to uplift its sporty credentials. At the front, it gets a lowered stance thanks to a tapering bonnet with faux bonnet scopes and a sporty bumper with a lip spoiler. It gets a blacked-out grille with MG logo in the middle and a few gloss black touches on the bumper as well. Around the side, the eMG5 gets blacked-out alloy wheels with green brake callipers.
The eMG6 also gets flared wheel arches that give it a widebody stance. Other additions to the side include chrome surrounds for the window line, X power badging on the side fenders, side skirting and an X badge near the C-pillar. At the rear, the eMG6 gets sleek LED tail lights and a large fixed spoiler. While the ‘e’ badge may suggest it might be an EV, the presence of twin exhausts let bystanders know it is indeed an ICE-powered car. Being a plug-in-hybrid, the eMG6 gets a fuel filler cap on the left and a charging port on the right.

MG eMG5 Launch Details
MG showcased the left-hand-drive version of the eMG6 and it’s not on sale in any European market as of now. Hence, we do not expect MG to launch the eMG6 anytime soon. However, if the eMG6 hits our shores, it will become a unique proposition, combining the performance of a turbo petrol engine and the efficiency of a plug-in-hybrid setup.
