So far, only Kia India’s business partners and the media had had the chance to get a close look at the 2025 Syros. Now, for the first time, Kia are showcasing the Syros to the public and potential buyers of the car.

Why Public Showcasing Of Syros?

The purpose of giving the Syros prime real estate at Kia's Auto Expo pavillion is two-fold:

The obvious one is to generate interest in the brand’s products and get some people to start consider Kia’s cars for their future purchases
The 2nd and the inconspicuous one is likely that they want to gauge the interest among potential buyers for their upcoming car. Even how the non-buyers perceive the car is important information for Kia. After all, we buy cars to also show off to our family and friends. Kia will announce the prices of the Syros on Feb 1, 2025 and the information they gather at the Auto Expo will help them better optimise the pricing of the Syros. Their goal is to price it as high as possible while making sure that the price can sustain the projected manufacturing capacity in the long term.

We expect the Kia Syros 2025 to cost between Rs. 9.0 and Rs. 16.0 lakh (ex-showroom). However, we have learned from sources that Kia wish to price it much higher in the range of Rs. 11.0 lakh and Rs. 17.0 lakh. Or that could all be just a smoke screen to later exceed consumer expectations and price it closer to our expectations.
