Here is the list of top 7 features of the new Ioniq 5:
1. Vehicle To Load Charging
The new Ioniq 5 offers Vehicle to Load (V2L) charging that can not only power your small appliances but also charge another electric vehicle! The Ioniq 5 comes with a plug that slots in the charging port and transfer current to power small appliances and charge another battery electric vehicle. The Ioniq 5 also offers a 3-point plug below the rear bench seat to power other appliances like electric kettle or a vacuum cleaner. The maximum output of the V2L stands at 3.6kW.
2. 72.6kWh Battery Pack
The India-spec Ioniq 5 comes with a sole 72.6kWh battery pack that promises a range of 631km on a single charge. It powers a rear-mounted electric motor that produces 217PS of power and 350Nm of torque. The Ioniq 5 is capable of sprinting from a standstill to 100kmph in just 7.6 seconds.

3.Reclining Front Seats With Calf Support
While the recline for the front seats isn’t a new feature, the Ioniq 5 offers a commendable degree of backrest recline and making the package even more impressive is the presence of an electronically-extendable calf support for the front seat. The inclusion of a reclining backrest and extendable calf support make the Ioniq 5 perfect for short power naps.
4.Heated Rear Seats With Memory
The rear bench seating of the Ioniq 5 offers heating function along with memory function. Users can set their recommended seating position for all the seats from the infotainment system. Furthermore, the rear seats in the Ioniq 5 also offer backrest recline and electronic sliding functions.
5.Magnetic Dashboard
The Ioniq 5 offers a small magnetic surface on the right side of the instrument cluster. This space can be utilised to stick memorable photographs and fridge magnets. While it may not be used by most users of the Ioniq 5, it adds a personal touch to the overall ownership experience.

6.Level-2 ADAS With 21 Features
The new Ioniq 5 is the 2nd Hyundai in India to offer advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The level-2 ADAS in the Ioniq 5 offers up to 21 features that keep you safe from all the hazards. A few of these are adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, rear cross traffic alerts, blind spot collision warning and forward collision warning and avoidance.
7.Sliding Front Centre Console
We have seen sliding front armrests in multiple cars that let you have a comfortable position to rest your arm. However, the Ioniq 5 offers a sliding front centre console to liberate more space at the front and rear depending on your needs. Thanks to its skateboard architecture, the Ioniq 5 doesn’t have any intrusive front and rear tunnels that are common in ICE-powered vehicles.
