Auto Expo 2025: Tata Showcase Harrier EV In Production-Ready Form | V3Cars

Tata Motors have showcased the much-anticipated 2025 Harrier EV in a production-ready form at Auto Expo 2025. The Harrier EV made its debut as a concept at the Auto Expo 2023 and was subsequently showcased at the first-ever Bharat Mobility Global Expo in 2024. This time around, Tata have showcased the Harrier EV with a matte paint finish.

Showcased in a matte this time around, the 2025 Harrier EV is poised for launch later this year.  

2025 Tata Harrier EV Exterior Design

The Harrier EV maintains the robust design language of its diesel counterpart while incorporating distinct electric vehicle cues. Key changes include a closed-off front grille, a redesigned front bumper with vertical slats similar to those found on the Tata Nexon EV and Curvv EV, and aerodynamically optimised alloy wheels. The rear retains the recognisable connected LED taillights. Both the daytime running lights (DRLs) and taillights feature new welcome and goodbye light animations, a design element also present on the Harrier diesel.

2025 Tata Harrier EV Interior And Features

The Harrier EV’s interior retains the spaciousness and design of the Harrier diesel version but introduces subtle enhancements to reflect its electric nature. A refined color scheme for the upholstery and dashboard creates a more sophisticated ambiance. Soft-touch materials on the dashboard and door panels further elevate the cabin’s premium feel. 2025 Tata Harrier EV Expected Powertrain Specs

While Tata Motors did not divulge any details regarding the 2025 Harrier EV’s electric motor and battery pack specifications, we expect the electric SUV to offer at least 2 battery pack option with a claimed range of over 500km. What’s even more interesting is the fact that the Harrier EV will signal the return of a four-wheel drivetrain in a Tata SUV as it is set to get variants with dual electric motors.

2025 Tata Harrier EV – Expected Prices And Rivals

The Tata Harrier EV is expected to be competitively priced, with an estimated starting price of Rs. 30 lakh (ex-showroom). This positions it to directly challenge key rivals in the ever-growing electric SUV segment, including the Mahindra XEV 9e and BYD Atto 3.
