1. VF e34 (Expected)
VinFast, the Vietnamese electric carmaker, are expected to showcase the VF e34 electric MPV at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. Reports suggest the VF e34 could become VinFast’s first offering for the Indian market when the manufacturer commences operations in the second half of 2025. When launched, we expect the VinFast VF e34 to rival the MG Windsor EV, Tata Nexon EV and the Mahindra XUV 400. Expect prices to range from Rs. 13 lakh to Rs. 15 lakh (ex-showroom).
The VinFast VF e34 is expected to offer a 41.9kWh battery pack, which should help it offer an ARAI-claimed range in excess of 300km. VinFast claim the batteries can be charged from 10-20 percent in 27 minutes using a compatible fast charger. The VF e34’s single electric motor is capable of producing 110PS of power and 242Nm of torque, helping it achieve a top speed of 130kmph. We expect the India-spec VF e34 to also offer driving modes – Eco, Normal and Sport – to allow the car to fully adapt to your driving style.
Feature highlights of the VF e34 include a 10-inch vertically-oriented touchscreen infotainment system, 6 airbags, front and rear sensors, 360-degree surround view monitor and ADAS features such as rear cross traffic alert and blind spot detection.

2. VF5 (Expected)
Apart from the VF e34, we also expect VinFast to showcase the VF5 electric SUV at the Auto Expo 2025. With a length of under 4 metres, the VF5 is classified as a sub-compact electric SUV. The VF5 could launch soon after the VF e34 to serve as VinFast’s entry-level model in the ever-growing Indian EV market.
The VinFast VF5 is available with either a 29.6kWh or 37.23kWh battery pack in various Asian markets. We expect the brand to offer the India-spec VF5 with the larger battery pack option to compete with the likes of the Tata Punch EV. Expect a Punch EV-rivalling power output of 127PS and an ARAI-claimed range of just over 300km per charge.
In terms of features, the VF5 offers an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a rotary drive selector and a minimalistic but spacious interior.

Other VinFast Cars At Auto Expo 2025
Apart from the VF e34 and VF5, we expect VinFast to showcase their entire global lineup at the Auto Expo 2025. These include electric models such as the VF 6, VF 7, VF 8 and the VF 9. We also expect VinFast to announce their expansion plans for the Indian market, including details of showrooms and service centres.
