The top variant of the Kushaq is available with 2 turbo-petrol engines; a 1.0L and a 1.5L. The 1.0L engine is available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed TC automatic transmission. The 1.5L petrol engine is available with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission.
This 1.0L turbo-petrol engine produces 115PS of power and 178Nm of torque. It is the most powerful and the most torquey powertrain when compared to its normal petrol engine rivals. It has a claimed fuel efficiency of 17.88kmpl, which is only less than the Volkswagen Taigun in the segment.
The 1.5L turbo-petrol engine produces 150PS of power and 250Nm of torque. It is also the most powerful and the most torquey engine in its segment and on par with the Volkswagen Taigun. It has a claimed mileage of 17.95kmpl and 17.71kmpl with the manual and automatic transmissions, respectively. This makes it the second most fuel-efficient turbo-petrol SUV in its segment, only behind the Taigun. However, the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara strong hybrid has a claimed mileage of 27.97kmpl, which is the highest in the segment.

The Skoda Kushaq measures 4225mm long, 160mm wide and 1612mm tall. The Kushaq is one of the shortest cars in the segment. It is only longer than the Volkswagen Taigun. Similarly, the Kushaq has the least width and height in the segment. However, it has the longest wheelbase (2651mm) in the segment. The Kushaq also has the least boot space (385L) and the skinniest tyres in the segment. The Kushaq has a ground clearance of 188mm, which is comparable to the other SUVs in the segment.
