1. Sunroof

The all-new 4th-generation Dzire sedan offers a segment-first single-pane sunroof. None of the Dzire’s rivals, including the new Honda Amaze, Hyundai Aura or the Tata Tigor, offer this feature. The sing-pane sunroof in the Dzire is electronically controlled and lets in a lot of light inside the cabin. However, this feature is only offered in the top ZXI Plus variant of the Dzire, which costs the same as the Amaze ZX top variant, which offers ADAS. Hence, picking between the top variants of both sedans ultimately falls down on whether you need a sunroof or the added security blanket of ADAS.

2. 9-Inch Touchscreen

While the Amaze is offered with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system as standard, the Dzire offers a 7-inch touchscreen in its mid VXI and ZXI variants. However, the top ZXI Plus variant of the Maruti sedan gets a larger 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. While the larger touchscreen is a nice-to-have feature in the top Dzire variant, the free floating design of the screen can impede your vision if you are of a shorter stature. Meanwhile, the Amaze’s touchscreen infotainment system looks sleeker and offers physical buttons for quick access to various vehicle functions.

3. 360-Degree Surround View Camera

The all-new Amaze offers Honda LaneWatch camera and blind spot detection, which shows the driver a clear view of the left-side blind spot while driving. In comparison, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2024 offers a 360–degree surround view camera that offers a bird’s eye view of the car’s surroundings. While the Honda LaneWatch camera is useful while driving, the 360-degree camera in the Maruti sedan comes in handy while parking the vehicle.

4. Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

The all-new Dzire 2024 sedan also offers a tyre pressure monitoring system, which is not available in any variants of the Amaze. However, owners of the Amaze can get a TPMS fitten from the aftermarket.

A TPMS lets you monitor the tyre pressure of each tyre, helping you maintain the recommended tyre pressure to prolong the life of the tyres. Maintaining the recommended tyre pressure also helps you optimise the mileage of the vehicle. It also alerts the driver of a loss in pressure due to a puncture, thereby improving safety.

5. Footwell Lighting

The top ZXI Plus variant of the Dzire offers footwell lighting. This feature creates a more inviting and luxurious atmosphere, especially at night. It also helps entering and exiting the car easier.
