While the interior details remain largely under wraps, we expect the 2024 Dzire to share a similar dashboard layout with the 2024 Swift. This could mean a new, more premium cabin with a larger 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof, and a 360-degree camera for the higher variants. Safety features are likely to include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), and rear parking sensors.

The new Dzire 2024 will get the same 1.2L 3-cylinder normal petrol and CNG bi-fuel powertrain options as the Swift 2024.

3. Lotus Emira Launch (Expected) – November 10

British manufacturer Lotus are all set to introduce the Emira sports car on November 10. Following the launch of the all-electric Eletre in 2023, the Emira will be the last pure internal combustion engine (ICE) car from the brand. The Emira is designed to be lightweight and agile. With a Kerb weight of just 1,405kg, the Emira promises exhilarating performance. Imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), the car is expected to be priced starting from Rs. 2 crore (ex-showroom).

The Emira offers 2 engine options: a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine from Mercedes-AMG, delivering 365PS of power, and a 3.5L, V6 engine sourced from Toyota, producing 406PS. The Toyota-sourced engine is available with both manual and automatic transmissions, while the 2.0L engine is paired with a dual-clutch transmission.

4. Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Launch – November 12

Mercedes-Benz India are set to introduce the AMG C63 S E Performance sedan on November 12. The AMG C63 S E Performance revolutionises the traditional V8-powered C-Class. It features a powerful plug-in hybrid setup, combining a 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine with a rear-mounted electric motor. This potent combination delivers a staggering 670PS of power and 1020Nm of torque.

The C63 S E Performance is capable of accelerating from 0-100kmph in 3.3 seconds. The electric motor provides an all-electric range of 13km, allowing for silent and emission-free driving. A 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system ensure optimal power delivery to all 4 wheels.

Positioned above the C43, we expect Mercedes-Benz to price the AMG C63 S E Performance between Rs 1.30 crore and Rs 1.40 crore (ex-showroom). This high-performance sedan will compete with the Audi RS5 in the Indian market.

5. Mahindra EV Reveal (Expected) – November 26-27

Mahindra have sent V3Cars a ‘block your date’ invite for November 26-27. However, the brand is yet to divulge details of their upcoming SUV. Over the past few months, Mahindra were spotted testing 2 of their all-new EVs – the BE.05 and XUV e8 – on public roads. However, we expect the carmaker to launch these 2 models at the Bharat Mobility Expo in January 2025.

Meanwhile, the all-electric version of the XUV 3XO was spied testing recently. The XUV 3XO EV is set to replace the XUV400 EV and we expect Mahindra to launch it later this month. The XUV 3XO EV is set to inherit new features, such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, panoramic sunroof, 6 airbags, 360-degree surround view camera, and more, from the XUV 3XO turbo petrol and diesel models.

6. Audi RS3 Launch (Expected) – November 28

Audi, too, have sent V3Cars a ‘block your date’ event scheduled for November 28. Like Mahindra, they are yet to give us any details of their upcoming model. The Audi RS3 features a 2.5L, 5-cylinder turbo petrol engine that produces 394PS of power and 500Nm of torque. Equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive, the RS3 is capable of accelerating from 0-100kmph in just 3.8 seconds. The top speed of the Audi RS3 is rated at 290kmph.

The Audi RS3 will sit below the RS5 Sportback in Audi India’s lineup. We expect it to cost between Rs. 95 lakh and Rs. 1.05 crore (ex-showroom).
