New-Gen Tata Nexon Spied With Production-Spec Headlights | V3Cars
Tata Motors are all set to reveal the new-gen Nexon in the country in the coming weeks. The latest spy shot of the upcoming SUV reveals its LED DRLs and headlights. Read on to know more about the new-gen Tata Nexon.
New-Gen Tata Nexon LED Headlights And DRLs
The new images reveal the production-spec LED DRLs and headlights of the next-gen Nexon. The LED DRLs of the new Nexon have a blade-like design, somewhat similar to what we have seen in the latest Audi models. The LED DRLs are also likely to double up as turn indicators while a connected LED strip is likely to complete the front fascia. Furthermore, the images also reveal projector LED headlights whereas the current Nexon comes with halogen-based headlights.

Apart from these details, the rest of the design continues to hide under heavy camouflage. Based on the existing details, it’s safe to assume that the new Nexon will offer a sharper design with modern touches, while also retaining its silhouette. The side profile is likely to remain more or less the same, save for the new alloy wheels. At the rear, the new Nexon is likely to offer connected LED tail lights along with sequential turn indicators.
New-Gen Tata Nexon — Interior And Features
On the inside, the new Nexon could offer a revamped dashboard design with better quality materials and features. The centre of the dashboard is likely to host Tata’s new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It will also boast Tata’s new 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo. Other features of the Nexon 2023 could include a wireless phone charger, full-colour LCD instrument cluster, front ventilated seats, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, multi-drive modes and paddle shifters.

New-Gen Tata Nexon — Powertrain Details
Tata Motors showcased their new range of turbo petrol engines at the 2023 Auto Expo. While the carmaker said that they plan to introduce the new 1.2L turbo petrol engine with the Curvv coupe-SUV, we believe that the new engine will actually make its debut with the Nexon. Currently, the Nexon comes with a 120PS 1.2L 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine. The new engine, on the other hand, is likely to offer 125PS of power and up to 225Nm of torque. It is also likely to come with a dual-clutch automatic alongside a 6-speed manual transmission. We expect the new Nexon to continue with the same 1.5L turbo diesel engine as the current model.
New-Gen Tata Nexon — Launch Details And Rivals
Since the Nexon is currently one of the oldest SUVs in the B2-segment space, Tata Motors could reveal the new model as early as August this year. The new Nexon is likely to be Tata’s offering for the upcoming festive season. It will rival the recently updated Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Hyundai Venue facelift. Its other segment rivals include the Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.
