2025 MG Majestor Gets A Butch Design

The latest spy image of the MG Majestor showcase a production-ready test mule. Although it was covered in camouflage, the spy shots corroborate the design and features that were showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo.

Based on previous spy images and the model showcased at the Auto Expo, we can confirm that the production-spec Majestor will offer an all-black grille housing MG’s new, larger emblem. It will also feature connected LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and vertically stacked LED headlamps.

The side profile reveals large alloy wheels, substantial body cladding, and a premium blacked-out treatment across the window lining, ORVMs, and door handles, which is in contrast with the chrome accents found on the MG Gloster. The blacked-out element give the Majestor a more rugged and sophisticated appearance. The rear is characterised by wraparound connected LED taillights and distinctive polygonal chrome exhaust tips, further enhancing its road presence.

2025 MG Majestor Interior And Features

Inside, the MG Majestor is expected to boast a premium cabin equipped with a 12.3-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital instrument cluster. MG are expected to offer features such as ventilated, heated, and massaging seats for the driver, ventilated seats for front co-passenger and 2nd row seats, a multi-zone climate control system, a panoramic sunroof, and an electric tailgate.

On the safety front, the Majestor is likely to come loaded with a comprehensive ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) suite, encompassing features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, driver fatigue detection, and 360° around-view cameras. Standard safety features will include 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC) and hill descent control.

2025 MG Majestor Expected Prices And Powertrain Specs

Under the bonnet, the Majestor is expected to share the 2L twin-turbo diesel engine with the top-spec MG Gloster. This unit produces 216PS of power and 479Nm of torque. MG are likely to offer the Majestor with an 8-speed automatic transmission along with a 4x4 variant featuring multiple lockable differentials.

Considering the MG Gloster's current pricing (Rs. 39.57 lakh - Rs 44.74 lakh ex-showroom), the MG Majestor is expected to be positioned slightly higher, with prices potentially ranging from Rs. 40-45 lakh for the base variants and reaching up to Rs. 50 lakh for the top-end variants. This pricing will place it directly in competition with full-size premium SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, the Nissan X-Trail, and the upcoming Skoda Kodiaq.
