MG Motor India Open Bookings For ZS EV Excite Variant | V3Cars

After its launch in March, MG Motor India have finally opened bookings for the ZS EV Excite variant. The Excite variant is the base model of the ZS EV and was initially meant to go on sale in July 2022.

The ZS EV Excite variant is priced at Rs. 22.58 lakh and sits below the Exclusive variant, which is priced at Rs. 26.50 lakh ex-showroom. MG Motor India have introduced an optional dual-tone ivory interior with the ZS EV Excite variant apart from the dark grey theme offered as standard.

ZS EV Excite

It is worth noting that the price of the ZS EV Excite variant has gone up by Rs. 58,000 over the launch price. Similarly, the Exclusive variant has also received a price hike.

The prices of the MG ZS EV range have gone up by up to Rs. 62,000. It is worth noting that MG charge Rs. 10,000 more for the dual-tone dashboard in the Exclusive variant. Hence, we expect MG to charge a similar premium for the dual-tone dashboard in the Excite variant as well.

The MG ZS EV rivals other electric SUVs in the market like the Tata Nexon EV Max and Hyundai Kona EV. These electric SUVs will also compete with the BYD Atto 3 and Mahindra XUV400 that are set to join the segment soon. BYD will launch the Atto 3 on October 11 whereas the Mahindra XUV400 will go on sale in January.
