In this May 2022 Skoda cars sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Skoda for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Skoda cars sales are improving and which ones are declining. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Skoda cars.

May 2022 - Skoda Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

In Skoda’s portfolio, the Octavia and Superb are the only cars old enough to have a YoY record. The rest of the cars are either discontinued or too new to provide a meaningful insight into their YoY performance changes.
The Slavia and Kushaq, the 2 C-segment cars, are still the top sellers in Skoda’s lineup as in April.
The Slavia’s impact is visible across the C-segment as the sales of the Ciaz and Verna are considerably lower YoY as well as MoM.

May 2022 - Skoda Car Sales Figures - MoM Change

In terms of MoM changes, May was a better month for Skoda as compared to April, which saw a decline in most cars
Their bigger cars like the Octavia and Kushaq reported the biggest drop of 50% and 25.2%, respectively
Meanwhile, the Superb was the top MoM gainer registering a 105.4% improvement
