Exclusive: Maruti Swift 2024 To Get 6 Airbags As Standard, 5 More New Features | V3Cars
We recently got our hands on the new generation Maruti Swift 2024 material confirming some of the new features of the upcoming hatchback from Maruti Suzuki. According to the source material, the 2024 Swift will get 6 airbags as standard across the range. In addition, the new Swift will also bring a few additional features.
Here’s a list of confirmed new features the new Swift 2024 will offer:
- 6 airbags as standard: Currently, Invicto is the only Maruti car with 6 airbags as standard. Moreover, rival cars like the Grand i10 Nios also offer this feature as standard.
- Larger, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment with Arkamys sound system: This feature is borrowed from the larger Maruti cars like the Fronx and Baleno.
- Rear AC vents: This feature is available in rival cars like the Grand i10 Nios and more expensive Maruti cars like the Baleno and Fronx.
- Wireless phone charger: Currently not available even in more expensive cars like the Baleno, Ertiga, XL6 but Brezza, Fronx and Grand Vitara get this feature.
- LED fog lamps: The current generation Swift gets LED projector headlamps but the fog lamps are halogen. LED fog lamps are available in Baleno and some more expensive cars from Maruti Suzuki.
- Telematics/Connected Car Tech (Suzuki Connect): The telematics features were earlier available in Baleno and other more expensive cars.
Among other feature updates, the Swift will also get USB A and USB C type charging ports. Moreover, the new gen Swift will also get longer rear suspension travel.
Obviously, there are some design and exterior colour option changes as well. We’ll learn more as we get access to more information, either through our source or official Maruti Suzuki communication channels.
