Maruti Nexa Baleno CNG Launched At Rs. 8.28 Lakh | V3Cars

Maruti Suzuki are the leading CNG carmaker in the country and have sold over 10 lakh CNG cars. Till now, Maruti Suzuki offered their CNG range of cars from their Arena stable but with the launch of the Baleno CNG and XL6 CNG, buyers also get the option of a CNG powertrain with the Nexa range of cars as well.

In typical fashion, Maruti Suzuki offer the Baleno CNG in the mid 2 variants. With the Zeta variant, the Baleno CNG offers features such as a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 16-inch alloy wheels, 6 airbags, a full-colour MID, LED projector headlights, LED DRLs, LED tail lights and 60:40 rear seat split.

As we stated earlier, the Baleno CNG shares its CNG powertrain with the Swift CNG and Dzire CNG. It produces 77.49PS of power and 98.5Nm of torque. However, when running on petrol, the CNG powertrain produces 90PS of power and 113Nm of torque. Maruti Suzuki still do not offer any CNG-equipped vehicle with an automatic transmission. Currently, the Baleno CNG is the only premium hatchback in the country with a CNG option. Tata Motors are working on the Altroz CNG, which could launch in early 2023.
