Exclusive: Now, Even The Maruti Dzire Tour S Gets A Special Edition | V3Cars

Special editions are usually reserved for times when the cars aren’t moving off the lot even with some discounts. The news and announcements of the special edition creates some buzz in the media and revives some interest among potential buyers. It helps those who weren’t earlier considering buying the car to at least give it some thought. And in doing so, the buyers subconsciously start thinking about buying the car, which is what eventually converts into a sale.

Maruti Dzire Tour S Gets A Special ‘Plus’ Edition

We have been seeing a lot of special editions from Maruti Suzuki and Toyota in the recent months but they are on regular passenger cars. We haven’t seen a commercial version of a car from either Maruti or any other carmaker for that matter receive this special edition treatment. Yet, here we are. It’s a sign that things aren’t going so good for the Tour S. And if they aren’t so good for the Tour S, then they aren’t good for others either.

With that bit of industry insight, let’s talk about the Maruti Suzuki Dzire Tour S Plus Edition. It gets accessories worth almost Rs. 50,000. The bundle price of these is quoted to be about Rs. 44,000. They are offering these for Rs. 15,000 additional cost to the customer, which, according to Maruti, results in a saving of almost Rs. 29,000.
